Benefits of Donating Annually
The greatest benefit of making a gift is the sense of pride and satisfaction in knowing that you have supported George Mason University. Plus, as a member of a donor recognition society, your leadership sets a high standard of support for other alumni, parents, and friends to follow.
Recognition societies created exclusively for Mason alumni include the Proud Patriot Society and the GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Circle.
The Proud Patriot Society recognizes alumni who support the university with a gift of $10 or more for five consecutive fiscal years (July 1–June 30). Click here to view a listing of current Proud Patriots.
GOLD Circle members are alumni who received their undergraduate degree from Mason during the decade prior to the current fiscal year and who make contributions and pledge payments totaling $500 to $999 received during the fiscal year (July 1–June 30).
Recognition for corporate matching gifts helps donors qualify for giving society membership. Click here for more information on matching gifts. Donors may renew their support during each fiscal year (July 1–June 30) to retain membership at their current level or move to the next level.
